yeah they were both dumb but mr pickles was this weird compound high-concept dumb that I feel like adult swim hasn't seen in a little while
like it's about a lassie-type setup except the dog is satanic and also a rapist but they're not even playing the rest of it straight, you've got superjail-style violence and a lot of terrible sex jokes and the mom's nipples are constantly outlined and the dad is neglectful but also always complaining about how he feels distant from his son and the grandpa trying to prove that the dog is evil and also the kid has leg braces even though that was never super important
it's just a LOT going on for an 11-minute show
I mean it's all terrible but it's also just super-busy wow
meanwhile ubermansion was basically titan maximum except this time they're making fun of the justice league instead of voltron
I mean neither of them was very good but you can explain what's going on in one a lot more easily than the other
