So we(family has been helping and some friends) have been working on cleaning the house and getting stuff together and some out. So after dropping a 3rd(yes 3rd!) load at the dump, I had this feeling. Damnest thing ever. It was taking me way out of the way that I was going. I turned into a side street until I found what was calling to me. A yard sale. Now it was a weekend, but there had been no signs for it, and it was later than most people stay out. We've been looking for furniture as some in the house as seen better days. They didn't have that, but my cousin just got a puppy, and they had an outdoor pen. I bought that and a cage(We have 7 dogs in our immediate family, someone can use the cage!) for $7. They also had a free box that I got a ceiling lamp, 2 cans of paint, and some outdoor pots. Altogether, a good bargain, I think.
I have also been trying to get the computer desk out of the house. The old computer desk was about 40 years old and needed replaced.(New one just needs put together). I don't know how it [the old desk] was put together, but it was solid. The bottom was disintegrating, though. It had enormous screws and I would be willing to bet someone had glued the screws in as well. I ended up taking a baseball bat to it. Great for the stress relief. Didn't take that many hits. I aimed for the stress points.
The floor is on my list too.
My list is very long.
VERY, VERY LONG.
