Almost all of my s/is have fashion designs based on real things I own, so I decided to do a little self-insert fashion shoot!

2. What is your backstory? What was your home life like? I'm from one of the Tal'dorei coasts, originally: grew up as an only child to a cleric mother and a librarian father. My dad went missing while visiting libraries in the Dwendalian Empire, and I had dropped out of bard school recently so I decided to go and try to find him.

5. What are your hobbies and interests? Do you have any that others find odd? Typical bard stuff, for the most part: learning new poems and stories and songs! I also write fanfiction, that's definitely weird in this universe: I have mailing lists with fellow fans of specific books/franchises and we swap our stories around.

9. How do other characters feel about you? Why? Everyone loves me because I'm the best (and also being a Bard means I provide a lot of support to the others)! I can be a bit nosy, so the characters with secrets sometimes get exasperated with me, but I'm also so painfully earnest that it's hard to hold it against me.

15. Do your s/is interact with any other self shippers s/i's?

Not many of them do but I would LOVE to make more in-universe connections with other people's ships!

(only exceptions are my Shigaraki and Gertrude universes, which are closed-circuit, but I have other s/is for both of those fandoms that I'd love to connect with other people's s/is!)

I definitely think of sharing a universe with you (Mitch, specifically), when I'm writing Mighty Nein found family content!!

Aside from that, I've attended one other Black Butler selfshipper's wedding with Grell, but our communities diverged and we're no longer mutuals! And that's it for my main/canon s/is, although I did a fun event where I wrote about my s/is with other people's in universes where I don't necessarily selfship.

2. How similar is your s/i to you? Are they a carbon copy, completely different or a mix of the two?

They've got a range! They're usually me, but with a certain facet enhanced or changed. Basically, their personality and interests will mirror mine unless there's a reason for them not to.

Both my BNHA inserts and my DC s/i are probably the closest to the real me, while my Rick and Morty, WTNV, and Nightmare Before Christmas 'sonas are all the furthest away in different ways: the rest would fall on the spectrum between them!

6. Has your s/i undergone any design/story changes since they were first made?

Hmmm, I think some of them have deepened, but none of them have changed too much! My Homestuck s/i got a scar added to distinguish them. My TMA and RnM s/is both have a LONG life to add backstory to, so they've gotten slowly filled in from the bare basics. Aside from that, I usually only release s/is once they're fully developed!

They're a collector of little things, especially from other people: they have a little metal box in their backpack filled with stones and feathers and things from their travels

They feel really embarrassed whenever they don't speak a language, because they want to know Literally All Of Them
