today was a good day.
i slept in and then headed downtown with mychal and carla. we spent a good amount of time in the goodwill and i picked up a couple pairs of shorts, a couple dresses and 3 vinyl records (2 of classical music plus the sound of music soundtrack) for under $20.ย
then we acted immaturely in the local sex shop before grabbing dinner and coldstone and heading home.
then i downloaded a ton of music and filled out a job application.
not a bad day. not entirely productive, but a good day nonetheless.
In the course of 20 minutes, I went from having no Wednesday night plans to driving to SF to see Gotye with Mychal and Carla.
This will be the first concert I go to where I'm not intimately familiar with the music. I've listened to Making Mirrors a few times, but not enough to know the words. This will be a new experience.
