happy new year to you too anon!! i am having a nice day so far, and i hope you are too! i have a good feeling ik who you are from the bouquet 👀 i'll take the kid version of the trio since that's what everyone has seen so far :) - definitely together! if you're an mc who doesn't care about new year's day or a mc vibrating from excitement, sunny is going to be banging pots and pans outside your door (literally) and probably wake up your house and half the neighbourhood. - you probably wouldn't go to vin's because their mother and sister would positively murder you. they would sneak out and meet you at the banyan tree! - i don't think there would be a tradition per se. you can call this whole process a tradition, though! - Sunny would be absolutely determined to wish first, and to irritate them, Vin would wish you a day earlier (which sunny would argue doesn't count). But the moment the clock Sunny snuck out from their house strikes twelve, they're yelling happy new year at the top of their voice. BONUS: "Y'know, MC, I think I feel older beyond my years already." Sunny nods importantly, scratching their chin sagely. "Yeah, would explain your wrinkly face." "I don't have wrinkles! You have a grey hair! Vin--VIN! Take that back! Touch wood, it might come true--!" "Nuh-uh. Happy New Year, MC. Bye." Vin hops off the tree and starts the walk back home.
