Perth, 1.20pm.

It's hot. So fucking hot. Not in the good, humid Melbournian way they're used to no this heat is dry, sucking the breath from your lungs and drenching you in horrible sweat that is somehow dry as well. There's no breeze, no clouds and nowhere to run.

The air conditioning in their hotel room is shit and Daniel's not sure whether it's just the room or the entire hotel and honestly he doesn't fucking care anymore, any fight he had in him has been drained by the relentless heat and what he had had left the show had sucked from him and all he wants is a peaceful shower and to go to bed naked and covered with ice cubes.

And that's exactly what he's going to do. Despite the heat the bathroom is a tiny bit cooler, the tiles not as sticky warm as he'd thought they'd be and he's just put his bag on the counter and is taking off his shirt when Beau swirls into the room, bringing another cloud of hot air with him.

“Skippyroo” He says seriously, and if it wasn't so hot Daniel would kill him for the nickname but right now he just ignores Beau, digging through his bag for a razor before he becomes some kind of neck-bearded werewolf creature that no one wants to fuck.

“Babe” Beau prompts again, stepping forward and pressing his sweat-damp shirt against his naked back where it sticks in the most disgusting way and it's one of the few times Daniel is willing to admit he doesn't want his boyfriend anywhere near him.

“It's too fucking hot, get off” He grumbles but Beau just hmm's in his ear, breath heavy as he presses closer and oh, oh. Only on the hottest day of their entire lives would Beau have a boner.

“Go fuck yourself” Daniel says, pointedly wriggling his way out of Beau's grip, razor in hand and heads over to open the shower door, starts the water running and he holds his hand under the flow as it goes from mostly warm to a pleasant cold and he sets the razor onto the little shelf and goes to pull his pants off.

“The whole idea of having a boyfriend is not having to do that” Beau says cheekily, leaning forward to smack his bare ass as his pants hit the floor and it's only because of the many years of Brooks brothers ass slaps that Daniel doesn't squeal like a bitch. This time, anyway.

“It's too hot” He protests again, stepping into the shower and he can't help but moan a little at the cool water on his head, making him forget a little about the heat that awaits outside.

“But i'm horny”Beau whines, cocking his hip and pouting. “Please?”

It's not that Daniel doesn't want to fuck just fuck, it's so fucking hot. Then again, Jai always tells him that dealing with Beau is all about the art of compromise and who is he to deny the opportunity to both get off and make Beau happy while getting him off too?
