My band director told me I'd be marching tenor saxophone, which at first I was hesitant about but I got really excited about. AND THEN at our show release party we got our music and there were no tenor parts, so I confronted him and asked where the tenor parts were and he was like "oh, you're on alto again." I was like π oh okay then. It's been like 2 weeks and I'm still not over it.
