I understand if your upset or disgusted by me." Ryo said quietly lowering his head, feeling terrible, even thought she had said nothing about disliking it, he felt like she was thinking it and he wasn't about to go and read her thoughts just to prove himself right or wrong as, he continued to stare at his hands, not able to look at Dis in the face, she probably was completely and utterly disgusted with him now wasn't she? Ryo thought wanting to throw himself out a window.
Dis: So that was it... She could sort of understand now what had happened. She was a little upset yes, but only a little, and more than anything she was glad HE wasn't upset with HER. It was true he hadn't asked for permission to do the things he did, and maybe he had taken advantage of her confusion, but... She hadn't disliked any of it, and even in her normal state it was unlikely she would have denied him. Dis crawled over to him and wrapped her arms around him from behind. "I am upset. I can't say I'm not. But probably not in the way you think. I'm upset because I'm confused, and I don't understand why my body reacts to you the way it does. It's scary. But... I don't hate it. The things you do to me, the way you make me feel... I don't hate it. So, if you want to do more of it... That's ok. Just... just take it slow please? Because I still need to figure out how much it is I like you. Because I do like you Ryo I'm just not sure how far the feeling goes."
Ryo felt a little happier when Dis crawled over to him and wrapped her arms around him from behind. "Heh, well, that makes me feel a bit better to hear." He said laughing quietly. Yeah, I'm sorry for going so fast on you like that, but you sorta tempted me... Your moans were just so cute I couldn't help myself in the end, but again I truly am sorry... And I hope that one day you'll have the same feelings as me..." Ryo said his last sentence a bit quietly, not sure if Dis heard him or not.
Dis: "T-tempted?! I didn't do that at all!" At least she couldn't think of anything she'd done that counted as temptation. She might have initiated the start of it all by kissing him, but that didn't count. That had been an innocent good morning kiss from wife to husband. She hadn't done anything that counted as tempting... had she?
Ryo: "Maybe tempted isn't the right word... More like aroused..." He said feeling a smirk appear on his lips as he gave out a short chuckle. "Your moans really are just too cute. Also I find it pretty interesting that you dreamt about marrying me." Ryo looked over at Dis, continuing to smirk. "I never knew little miss Dis wanted to marry me we could just run away and get married now if you wanted." He said looking up at the ceiling, thinking that was a pretty good idea, if you asked him.
Dis: Dis blushed, stuttering. "Y-you don't have to keep going on about my moans! It's embarrassing enough knowing you heard them in the first place without you reminding me...!" She buried her face into his back to hide the adorably embarrassed expression she was making. "Ah!" Her head shot up and she pinched his cheek, her heart thundering at his words. "Dummy! Th-that dream doesn't mean anything! And if you're going to suggest getting married do it properly!" She knew he had to be joking, but she was trying to hide how much his teasing got to her.
Ryo: "But it's fun to talk about them they really are cute, and it shouldn't embarrass you moaning is natural." He replied, chuckling again as, she buried her face into his back, wincing a bit as soon as Dis pinched his cheek. "It means a lot even if you don't think so. At least it means a lot to me anyway..." Ryo mumbled a grin, forming on his lips as, she said that if he was going to suggest getting married to do it properly soon raising the palm of his hand and making a little black box appear, soon getting up from her futon, he kneeled back down facing her, and said. "Dis will you marry me?" He had said it in a quite serious tone, not sure if he was actually teasing her now, but he felt as if he was for real here, not that she would actually accept now would she, either way he could always try again.
Dis: For a few seconds Dis was at a total loss. Was that box really what it looked like? Was he actually proposing? If he opened it up, would there be a ring inside? She sat there a few seconds, those thoughts whirling around in her head, before she snapped out of it. "Ahhhhh! That's way to far to go for a joke! Don't play with a girl's heart like that!" She picked up a throw pillow and threw it right into his face. "You tease!" She clutched a hand to her chest, heart seeming to have stopped when he made the box appear, and now her heart was trying to make a break for it past her ribcage.
Ryo: "I'm not joking-" Ryo said, getting cut off as, Dis threw a pillow at his face. Letting the pillow fall off his face and his knee, he opened up the box, revealing a marriage ring, soon holding the box out to Dis. "I wouldn't lie about something serious like this, Dis." Ryo said, feeling a bit hurt that Dis thought he was teasing her.
Dis: The ring was gorgeous, the prettiest ring Dis had ever laid eyes on. It was stunning, and perfect, and just her taste... And way too much at once. Panic alarms sounded in her head, her breathing stopped, and for a while all she could do was stare. And then she snapped. "OH SWEET GODS!" She scooted back on the bed, pulling the covers up to her chest as if she had been caught naked. "How am I supposed to answer a proposal properly when I don't even know my feelings yet?! You baka! You super idiot!" Her face was flushed the brightest shade of pink known to man, and she felt a pressure the weight of which she might collapse under. How on earth was she supposed to respond to something like this?!
Ryo: "Hmm, well, if your not going to accept, than I can just keep the ring in till you figure out your feelings or if you would like to keep it then go ahead." Ryo said simply, feeling completely calm about the situation as, he watched Dis freak out, chuckling as he saw her blush a bright pink. "You really are adorable when you blush and freak out."
Dis: "St-stupid!" She hid herself fully under the covers, chucking yet another pillow at him. Yep, there was only one thing to do in this situation, and that was hide here until the crazy demon man went away and stopped doing things that make her feel like she would have a heart attack. Stupid Ryo and his stupid antics.
Ryo: "Calling me stupid, hiding under your covers, and throwing a pillow at me isn't going to make me go away Dis." Ryo said, catching the pillow in his hands as, he put the box with the ring on the floor, pulling the covers off of Dis and pulling her onto his lap. "You haven't had a heart attack from my stupid antics yet so I don't think you should panic so much with what I do." Ryo said chuckling before, he placed a soft kiss on Dis's cheek, then burying his face in her hair. "You smell nice..." Ryo murmured, giving her head a soft kiss as well.
Dis: "Yet. Yet is the key word." She pointed out, a bit sulkily. "Hey, no smelling! You're not allowed to spring that sort of question on me and then get all cuddley! That's not fair!" She was doing her best to be mad at him, but Ryo was the one person she could never stay mad at. Still, he'd really gone too far this time, asking her to marry him when they'd yet to go on even one date.
Ryo: "True, but I promise on the life of me, I won't let you die from a heart attack from my antics." Ryo got his face out of Dis's hair and laid his chin on her shoulder, looking at her in the eyes. A playful look shining in his red eyes. "But your so soft and squishy I can't help myself, but get all cuddly, besides who knows maybe one day we will be married and have hmm about 19 kids maybe." Ryo said the last part a bit jokingly, since having nineteen kids would be a lot of work, if he thought about it, soon swaying his tail side to side, he gave out a small smirk. "Your not actually mad at me though are you. You just said in your mind that I'm the one person you could never stay mad at, and I'm sorry for going so far, since we haven't gone on one date yet, but doesn't it sound pretty adventurous and daring to just run off and get married?" Ryo mumbled the last part knowing that it probably wasn't really adventurous or daring to just run away and get married but there was just something to it that gave it a shiny spark.
Dis: "I am not having 19 kids! It might be part of my duty to help produce as many possible heirs as I can for my family's Grimnior, but that's way too many!" Dis didn't quite get that he was joking about that part. It WAS expected of her that she'd have as many kids as she was able when she got married, but that was not going to be anytime soon. She just wasn't ready yet. "Hey, reading my mind isn't allowed either!" She pouted pushing against his chest.
Ryo: Ryo's eyes widened a bit hearing that it was apart of Dis's duty to produce as many possible heirs for her families Grimnior. "To be honest I think I don't really like the idea of you just having kids and then giving them off to be heirs for your family... Or at least that's how it sounds like..." Ryo sighed heavily, burying his face in Dis's neck. "I can't help it sometimes your thoughts come directly to my mind, and I can't stop that." He mumbled quietly, breathing heavily against her neck.
Dis: "What do you mean, 'giving them off'? It's not like they get taken away. Whichever child has the greatest magical output of the generation gets offered the chance to become the heir once they turn 13. Like in Harry Potter, only we still go to regular school and we get special magic training at home! And no one HAS to say yes. It's a choice." She'd chosen happily to become the heir, taught the basics of magic from childhood and raised by a warm, loving family. Due to complications during her birth she ended up an only child, but that was ok. She'd never wanted for anything as a child. Her thoughts were interrupted by Ryo's breath on her neck. ''Ah, Ryo your breath feels hot! It's tickling me..." She blushed yet again.
Ryo: "Ah, sorry then I guess I misunderstood." Ryo said quietly, smiling sheepishly as, he chuckled when Dis told him that his beware was tickling her. "That sounds pretty cool I guess." Ryo said, trying to process everything Dis had said and glue it to memory.
Dis: "Yeah, it was fun. I think I'm going to like raising a lot of kids too." A big house, with a well-stocked kitchen and a big oak tree with a tire swing in the yard, a cute family pet, like a ferrit or a bat... It would be fun. A lot of work, but fun.
Ryo: "What if we had kids and they ended up being half demon would they still be able to become apart of your family heir?" Ryo asked, giving a small smile at Dis's thought of having a lot of kids and a big house.
Dis: "Why wouldn't they?" The question confused her. Species didn't matter as long as they weren't allergic to Life Magic they would be just fine. Her family didn't care who or what she married, as long as they were a good person.
Ryo: "Demons can turn out bad like I did sometimes. I was born with another side of myself because of all the darkness my parents had in them and it got injected into me and it developed through me as I got older because I always got abused and stuff. I know it sounds confusing, but it can happen even to kids who have the nicest parent or parents. If we had kids there could be a chance my darkness could get injected into them and I'm not really sure if I could ever forgive myself if that happened, but I don't really like the idea of you having another guys kids either." Ryo said with a bit of a dark look in his eyes. Even if species didn't matter and all that, he still didn't wanna risk having a kid that could turn into a bad person.
Dis: "If that ever happened, we'd deal with it. We'd do everything we could to help both sides of our child." Her voice was so sincere, her words so genuine, there was no arguing against them. "Just like I promise I'll help both sides of you. You didn't turn out bad, Ryo, just hurt." What he was saying was a little confusing, and she didn't understand what he was saying exactly, but she knew that was something he was wrong about. He wasn't a bad person.
Dis: "Wh-who said anything about it being a guy? I might have kids with a girl or someone of combination gender you know." She tried to tease him, but felt a bit embarrassed that her heart beat a little faster from knowing he'd be jealous over something like that.
Ryo: Ryo couldn't help, but smile widely at Dis's words. It made him feel a little bit better about himself. "It's alright you don't have to waste your time helping me. I've already learned to control my other side a bit. So I think I'll be alright and I would prefer you to never see my other side ever." Ryo said, sighing heavily relieved that Dis hadn't seen his other side yet. There was always that word yet. Maybe one day she would experience something with his other side and he wasn't sure if he exactly wanted that. "Also I'm not so sure about me turning out just hurt.." He said quietly, knowing deep on the inside he was a terrible person, whether Dis thought so or not, starting to feel a tinge of jealousy at Dis saying she might have kids with a female or a combination gender. He honestly didn't want her to have kids with anyone expect him. It made him feel deeply feel sick to hear her say she would have kids with just about anyone. "Well, in all honesty I don't want you to have kids with anyone expect for me..." He whispered once again a faint blush coloring his cheeks. He should of never said that, he didn't deserve Dis and she deserved a lot better than a piece of scum like him, he didn't even deserve to touch her so why did he do so? He didn't even know if she felt the same way as him, he always just rushed things with them and he felt ashamed for that as, he hung his head low and pulled away from Dis setting her back down on the futon and off his lap.
Dis: Did she say something wrong? He was pulling away all of the sudden, and she felt cold from the absence of his arms around her. "Ryo? Are you ok? I-I was only teasing you a bit, you don't have to sulk..." Please don't make that face. It felt lake someone was squeezing down on her heart when she saw him like that.
Ryo: "Sorry. I just don't think I could ever be the right person for you so who am I kidding by saying that I want to be the only one to have your kids." He said, laughing harshly as, soon forcing a smile onto his lips as he raised his head. It felt painful to fake smile at Dis like this it made him feel horrible and disgusting. He really was just a piece of scum and why should he self pity himself anyway he thought, feeling completely disgusted with his pathetic self as, his eyes seemed to turn into a pale white as he became emotionless.
Dis: No. Please, don't let that be the face he shows her, please don't let him think he isn't good enough for her. "Ryo..." Tears sprung to the corners of her eyes, and she wrapped her arms around him. This time SHE was the one pulling him into her lap, cradling him against her chest. "Stupid. You have no right to say something like that. I'm the one who decides who's right for me, so don't you go cutting yourself off before I even get a chance to know you."
Ryo: Ryo's expression turned into one of surprise as tears spring to the corners of Dis's eyes and she suddenly wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into his lap and started to cradle him against her chest. He was actually more surprised about how she could even hold him with that small body of hers. "Dis..." He whispered her name quietly, burying his face into her neck again, feeling like he might start crying himself, but he wasn't about to show Dis how pathetic he really was most of the time by crying, as he just wrapped his arms around her back and hugged her tightly, nuzzling her neck and smelling her hair again. Her scent always seems to calm down my nerves... He thought, giving out a slow sigh.
Dis: As her soft, sweet fragrance calmed his nerves, Dis helped it along by stroking his hair lovingly, murmuring his name softly into his ear. Her heart was overflowing with emotion. She wanted so much for him to be happy, to stop hating himself, to learn to love the world as it was. Every ounce of love and kindness she could muster was poured into her actions as she did her best to comfort him. Why did he still have to suffer so, after all he'd already been through?
Ryo: Ryo felt his cheeks flush slightly as, Dis stroked his hair and murmured his name into his ear softly. He felt happy with this affection, Dis was giving him as, he nuzzled her neck again, giving out a heavy sigh. Hearing her thoughts about why he still had to suffer was a pretty easy question. He had people looking for him, he could never be free like he wanted to be. He was breaking the rules of his own birthplace, but all of this he couldn't just explain to Dis that easily. It would be breaking another rule, besides it wasn't time to explain everything to her now anyway, Ryo thought closing his eyes slowly as, Dis continued to stroke his hair. "Dis... Could I sleep over at your place...?" Ryo asked slowly, even thought he felt like he was just being a nuisance by asking, he wanted to stay there with her the way she was comforting him just made him feel warm and loved and damn good for some reason... And it made him never want to leave her side.
Dis: "Of course." She gave him a gentle smile, not stopping her hands that stroked his hair and rubbed his back. If he wanted to stay the night, it was hardly a bother. Her apartment was big enough to have a guest stay over, even with her and Jesse already living there. Dis would stay with him until he fell asleep, then go off and spend the rest of the night on the couch. In the morning she would make him a kings breakfast.
Ryo: "Sorry for being such a nuisance... But would you sleep the night with me, too?" Ryo asked, clinging onto Dis, he felt like a kid again expect he wasn't getting abused, he felt like he was getting motherly love, which was better for a change even though as a child all of the abuse he got never really bothered him, he always thought his parents just hit him because they fought a lot and decided to take it out on him. He was stupid to think that though because none of that was true, they hated him and regretted ever having him. Sometimes Ryo wasn't sure why they hadn't just killed him and took care of him well in till he turned 7, where the abuse all started.
Dis: Dis felt a faint blush creep up into her cheeks, despite knowing his request was entirely innocent. Right now he needed comfort, and nothing more. Still, if she agreed, it would be the first time she'd shared a bed with a man. She couldn't say no though. He seemed so sad, there was no way she could turn him away. "Ok..." She replied shyly, just above a whisper. "I'll stay. As long as you need me to, and even after you don't. I'll always stay with you Ryo..."
Ryo: "Thank you. It means a lot to me for you to do this." Ryo whispered back, for the first time in a very long time starting to feel drowsy as, he gave Dis a small peck on the cheek before, burying his face in her neck again, just snuggling up against her gently. I bet she's only doing this because she pities me... But it's still really kind of her... Ryo thought feeling like he shouldn't act like such a kid around Dis it was a bit embarrassing, but he just couldn't help himself as, he continued to cling onto her, wondering if she would still be there when he woke up.
Dis: "Sweet dreams..." That was all she could say before she felt his breathing change to the slow steady rhythm of someone sleeping. She cradled him, stroking his hair, humming a soft lullaby. She felt so much for him, a tangle of emotions that she couldn't unravel. All she knew was that she cared for him deeply. She wanted to protect him from his past, from an ignorant world that too often hated his kind, from his own emotions. She wanted to be with him always.
