I wrote this song nearly 40 years ago. I’ve rewritten, rerecorded, and rearranged it many times throughout the years, but this particular version is my favorite. If you don’t have a good set of headphones or speakers, don’t bother clicking the link. You’ll get nothing out of it. But if do, and if you have a few moments, listen to this tale of changing times and the ties that bind. All music was created using Magix Soundpool’s library of loops and samples, which in it’s mechanical way, creates its own cold air of distance and disassociation. At the same time, some of instruments sound as warm, organic, and real as if an accomplished artist were pouring their soul into the part.

Aside from projects or hurricanes, there is a cone of uncertainty that we can use to chart the course of our lives. It begins with many variables and possibilities, but ultimately, it is narrowed down to one critical choice.
