since u didn’t specify a fic i’m gonna TALK ABOUT BOTH and of course i have have playlists to go along w both of my fics!! but i guess for fun we can go into specific songs

the songs that rly resonate w ndp for me are ‘still sane’ by lorde when it comes to leigh’s career, ‘the john wayne’ by little green cars when it comes to.... anything in harry’s pov, and of course any song w cecilia in it, my mind goes straight to ndp!! oh also like the entirety of glitterbug by the wombats rly gives me ndp vibes as well!! oh and ‘first day of my life’ by bright eyes is such a harry/cecilia song and if we’re talking 1d tracks ‘home’ is like the most harry/cecilia jam... but if we’re talking endnotes it’s ‘history’ 

and d&b well when i was watching wolf alice the other day i was like ‘holy shit this is a v hysterical naked kind of band’ so any songs by them, in particular ‘you’re a germ’ are v d&b to me!! and of course talking heads!! always!!  also ‘cannibal queen’ by miniature tigers and ‘teenage rhythm’ by grmln and ‘i wanna boi’ by pwr bttm are standouts that have the d&b vibe but tbh anything that’s a certain kind of lo-fi will always remind me of that fic!
