Story time:
Last weekend I went to Washington DC for the March on Washington and I took the train home, so I was at Union Station. It has a beautiful ceiling, so I went up to the mezzanine of the station to take pictures. The station was mostly empty due to Covid and no one was anywhere near me. I started taking pictures of the ceiling and there was a ball of moving light that appeared in the bottom right corner of the frame; I didn’t know what it was but I got annoyed it was ruining my shot! 😂 So I lowered my camera, and I could see the ball of light moving with my eye, outside of the camera. And I didn't even think to take more pictures, because I was annoyed it was in my shot.
Then the light disappeared and I took ceiling shots, then thought, wait, what was that?? I happened to get a shot with part of the light when it first started, on the left below. Stores around me were all closed. No one around me. I thought it might be light reflecting on the floor, but it isn't that. I don't know what it was! Just that it was a ball of light that moved around, not just a flash of light.
