Montenegro was another country that surprised me and I did not know much about before visiting. I feel like most of my 2014 Europe trips was full of surprise countries! 😂 • Montenegro is a small Balkan country with fantastic scenery. We visited Kotor, a fortified coastal town. In Kotor one of the most popular things to do is hike up 1355 steps to the Kotor Fortress. Although it is quite a trek and we had not planned on it, the hike was so worth it for the amazing views!
