#baldurs gate help

so me and my brother have started playing baldurs gate 3 and when we got to the goblin camp halsin ended up dying after the fighting and now we have no clue how to revive him. Withers isn’t acknowledging him as a revival option, we’ve tried cleric spells of revival (were only lvl 4), scrolls arent working either. So my only questions are 1. Does anyone know hoe to revive him, and if not 2. Do we need him to progress/are we soft locked? (We also don’t have a saveslot for when he was alive)

Once the cutscene ends and you're all still stuck in turn base. (I don't know if it matters but I everyone was ungrouped.) On everyone's turn take them back out of the double doors, just past the 2nd dead watchman. One at a time they'll exit turn base. Once they are all out of turn base. Group the back together and they'll walk back towards the Stem with no problems. And can use the healing pod.
