some doodles and some early concepting for veil Rebecca or maybe Veilbecca as a shorthand. I'm thinking she likes to wear warm/winter clothing both because of this post and also as a sort of way to symbolize that she is willing to go outside under any conditions. like as a response to being told 'there's a blizzard outside, stay in here where it's "warm and safe". forever'
Rebecca's appearance is always changing in the veil, a mix of her grasping at her own consciousness and memories and the influence of surrounding soul fragments causes this. her visible age is constantly shifting and her hairstyle and clothes change around. I also want to portray this idea by changing how I render her between chapters or major moments, but that detail only works digitally
