It only took 24 hours, but labor has finally started.
I started having painful contractions regardless of position about an hour ago and had my bloody show within the last few minutes. THANK GOD. They were talking about stopping the pit and going back to cervidil and having to start all over again. YIKES!
The fortunes in our fortune cookies at lunch yesterday. :) Fingers crossed tomorrow we have a baby!
So...labor cookies...
Pretty tasty. Basically ginger snaps with cayenne. Doubtful it will start labor, but will definitely be making them again. :)

*Last* doctors appointment update
So. No progress down below, and she couldn't do a membrane sweep because, you know, no progress down below. Pumping and labor cookies it is! T-minus 32 hours to beat the induction!
I had real contractions last night!
They hurt! Granted, I only had a few, they were really erratic, and I don't think I'm having them anymore...but HOORAY! First positive sign that my body might actually be interested in going into labor in weeks! Even if I still have to be induced, this could be a good sign that my body will take the nudging and really pick up on its own pretty quickly.
Looking forward to my doctors appointment now. Imma get my membranes swept and hopefully have more of those sweet ass pressure waves!
I'm SUPER excited about delivering a baby, y'all. :)
The plan for the next two days:
Appointment with the doctor first thing in the morning. Hoping for more dilation/effacement, but not counting on it. Going to ask for a membrane sweep.
Going to try pumping (yes, with my breast pump--I'll save anything I manage to get out) to get some contractions going tomorrow during the day.
My parents fly in at 1 tomorrow. Kellen will go get them, while I finish up work. We'll all go to dinner tomorrow night.
EPO and raspberry leaf tea before bed time one last time tomorrow night. Maybe also one last sexual encounter, both for the induction potential and because it's going to be a looooong 6 weeks.
Work during the day on Thursday. Maybe do lunch/dinner with my parents (and Kellen's if they're in town.) Get things together for the hospital.
6 PM Thursday, go to the hospital to be induced.
Hopefully have a baby, hopefully vaginally, some time on Friday.
We'll see how it goes.
