500 g mąki pszennej 250 ml mleka 100 g drobnego cukru 120 g masła 7 g suszonych drożdży 1 jajko Duża szczypta soli 350 g jagód 2 łyżki drobnego cukru 1 jajko do posmarowania jagodzianek Wszystkie składniki powinny mieć temperaturę pokojową. Mleko podgrzać tak by było ciepłe. Masło rozpuścić. Mąkę wsypać do dużej miski, dodać suszone drożdże, sól i cukier. Wymieszać. Dodać jajko i ciepłe mleko. Lekko zagnieść. Stopniowo dodawać stopione, ciepłe masło. Wyrobić gładkie, miękkie ciasto. Przykryć ściereczką i odstawić w ciepłe miejsce do wyrośnięcia na co najmniej godzinę. Ja zwykle zostawiam na około 1,5 - 2 godziny. Ciasto powinno podwoić swoją objętość. Jagody przebrać, posypać równomiernie cukrem. Dwie duże blachy wyłożyć papierem do pieczenia. Wyrośnięte ciasto przełożyć na stolnicę lub dużą deskę do krojenia posypaną delikatnie mąką i krótko zagnieść. Uformować z ciasta wałek i pokroić go na 16 równych części (ok. 60 g każda). Z ciasta uformować w dłoniach kulki. Każdą kulkę rozpłaszczyć ręką, na środek nałożyć 1 łyżkę jagód z cukrem. Skleić ciasto jak pieroga, mocno dociskając brzegi. Następnie przetoczyć bułeczkę po blacie. Uformowane jagodzianki układać na blachach złączeniem do dołu, w sporych odstępach - rosną! Przykryć blachy ściereczkami i pozostawić do wyrośnięcia na ok. 35 minut. Jajko roztrzepać widelcem. Wyrośnięte jagodzianki posmarować jajkiem, najlepiej przy pomocy pędzelka. Piekarnik rozgrzać do temperatury 190°C. Piec około 15-20 min, aż jagodzianki ładnie się przyrumienią. Wyjąć. Lekko przestudzić. Polukrować. 100 g cukru pudru 2 łyżki gorącej wody Cukier puder utrzeć z wodą przy pomocy łyżki. Lukier nie powinien być zbyt gęsty. W miarę potrzeby można dodać więcej wody lub cukru pudru. Lukrować jagodzianki przy pomocy pędzelka
