On the topic of language lessons: Geralt speaks another language and Jaskier just about dies because he finds it so incredibly attractive.
Thank you for the prompt! I chose to take this in a very soft, romantic direction. Listen to “Sunrise” from In The Heights if you want to hear the cutest english/spanish love duet!
Jaskier usually blocked out Geralt’s work conversations. He considered himself a fairly smart person, but the innerworkings of marketing lingo was not in his vocabulary, nor did he want it to be. He only began to tune in when the lull of Geralt’s voice sounded...odd, somehow. His ears perked up when he realized that Geralt was speaking a different language entirely. He heard Geralt chuckle on the phone.
“Si, si. Buenos tardes!”
Jaskier was out of his seat in a hot second, bouncing up to his boyfriend. He threw his arms around Geralt’s shoulders.
“You speak Spanish?”
“Enough to get by.” Geralt placed his hands on Jaskier’s waist.
“Say something to me.”
Geralt grinned. “What do you want to hear?”
“Anything.”
Geralt brought their bodies closer together. “Abrasame, mi amor.” Jaskier giggled, a gentle sound that pulled at Geralt’s heart. Jaskier knew roughly enough Spanish to know Geralt was being romantic, though he couldn’t tell you exactly what the man was saying. Even so, he felt his heart beating faster between their bodies. Geralt brushed a few strands of hair out of Jaskier’s eyes and placed a kiss on his noise, earning another giggle.
“What else?”
“Besame,” Geralt’s whispered, dragging his lips slowly down Jaskier’s cheek.
“What does that mean?”
“Let me show you.”
As he took Jaskier’s face between two hands and pressed their lips together, slow and soft, he made a mental list of all the lovely things he could call his boyfriend later on when they were wrapped up in each other, the rest of the world forgotten.
