Ben is just extra backup, but he tags along on Shanksā adventures because Sabo is that suspicious to where they need two sets of eyes on that kid, and just to see exactly what those three would do
Sabo? Sweet, angelic,Ā demonic, evil, Sabo. Sabo is a little angel sassy demon that hisses at anything and everything that screams rules. Heās the one that goes in the cookie jar when Rouge tells him not to, and makes sure he doesnāt get caught (puts the blame on Roger and Roger canāt back himself up because god her angry glare is not something to take lightly). Shanks likes him, but realizes in horror what a serious troublemaker he is (i.e. suggesting they should release a crocodile in the Zoo and ride it like a dragon) Everyone thinks heās the bad boy. He is. Please donāt take the Bad Boy portion lightly. Youāve been warned.
Ace? Ace isnāt too bad to handle, but heās pretty mature! Heās basically the calm one in the group that goesĀ āyeah thatās a pretty dangerous ideaā¦are you sure you guys want to do this?ā Heās the one always asking the questions and double checks to make sure itās safe (i.e. suggesting that a crocodile wouldnāt handle all their weight and are dangerous creatures, but never said no for it being released in the Zoo) Everyone is scared of him because of how angry he looks, but really, thatās just his face, guys. Heās actually really shy, so he doesnāt say much. Shanks thinks heās really cool, and talks to him whenever he sees him.Ā (Ace looks forward to their conversations)
Luffy is a good boy! The greatest, good boy youāre ever gonna get. Heās basically a little puppy!!! If heās been a good boy, he gets head rubs and a nice tummy pat. Heās the one that trouble finds accidentally (i.e. releasing a crocodile in the Zoo and the Zoo has to be put on lockdown) but he enjoys Shanksā company. Heās the little baby, but whatever Sabo suggests? Heād do it in a heartbeat without thinking of the consequences. Shanks loves him to bits, but sometimes scolds him for not thinking things through. Everyone loves him because heās so adorable! Heās got the cutest pouty face (and Roger hates it when itās used on him just so Luffy can have extra food) and does cute things on accident. He canāt help that heās so adorable.
Shanks is that guy thatās likeĀ āok kids if youāre going to do something dangerous then put on some safety gear, ok??ā so hearing about them releasing a crocodile in the zoo (and eventually being on the Zoo Watch List) was not on his bucket list because he was flirting with Makino at the time and Ben got lost
