#bah!

The sky is surprisingly clear tonight. There are no clouds to hide the modest brilliance of the towering stars, and the light of the full moon softly illuminates the old town and those rare residents who are still awake.

"You don't sleep like a young sinner."

"Indeed."

Jongler turned out to be among the sleepless. Their tall figure is right now on the roof of the gothic church building, towering like a hawk over the low horizon. Strong arms are crossed and support a muscular chest, thereby making the silhouette of the priest more formidable. The exorcist's work uniform still clings to their body, as does the black leather belt, which holds the hallowed tools for exorcising demons.

However, all of the above is hidden under the thick fabric of a dark cloak. Although, it would be more accurate to say "cloak", since this item of clothing is actually very much alive and has just woken up because of the cool night air.

"A meaningless, meaningless burden of other people's responsibilities will not bring you closer to Paradise."

"I know."

Jevil begins to change shape to get his partner's attention. The dark cloak seems to grow a demonic head, which can only be distinguished by bright cunning eyes and a monstrous smile, where each tooth is a sharp fang. But this does not bother Jongler in any way - their gaze is still riveted to the city, like to a magnet.

"You're not, not the one on duty today. It's not for you to waste the night," the demon pushes his head closer to someone else's in order to switch to an inviting whisper, "We need to plunge into the world of Morphine together and have a well-deserved rest."

But in response to the seducer, they only sigh softly, so softly that it could have been mistaken for an ordinary breath if Jevil's body had not enveloped someone else's with its altered flesh.

"I can't. I've got a bad feelin'."

"And what does this feeling tell you?"

"Dat boss is gonna be in trouble soon. I heard he wanted to go out at night and test one of his theories."

The demon laughs softly but does not mock his loved one. No, he kisses one of the Jongler's cheeks, while the high collar of the cloak strokes the other, and the thick dark fabric wraps tighter around the tense body, as if giving hugs.

"The little greenie fool has to learn a lesson."

"I know. But he's ma friend."

The exorcist finally opens crossed arms to stroke partner with one hand. Their gaze is finally fixed into someone else's eyes in order to find their outlet there, their calmness. And then Jevil's lips attract attention. The Jongler's head bends forward by itself to finally make the desired kiss and distract himself from his worries, at least for a mome-

An explosion is heard somewhere in the distance. Soon, green flames and black smoke appear at the crash site in the distance.

"Unfortunately, I was right."

"Fortunately, you are already ready to help."
