5. Is there any fic that makes you super happy to reread and remember you wrote that?

I don’t know if you just saw my post on feeling guilty for liking my own fics because it kind of feels vain?... 

I am fairly new to writing fanfiction, I started around 3-4 months ago so I don’t have that many fics. And not so much time has passed and I haven’t really changed that much regarding my taste in fanfictions, so I still like all of them!

Recently the wonderful @jaskierswolf read one of my rare multi-chapter-fics and commented really thoughtfully on every chapter and that made me read it again so I could answer all these lovely comments and I was so relieved and pleased to find that I still love it! The fic in questions is I will never leave you behind

I also love to reread ficlets I wrote because of requests/prompts someone send me. They challenge me to write something I would not have written otherwise. Not truly broken is one I really love ( @hailhailsatan send me the wonderful prompt for this, thanks again!!)

i lean towards more of the “domestic househusbands in beauclair co-parenting angouleme with also her lesbian aunt” interpretation 😅 also everything about the healer/fighter dynamic, also the fact that regis is someone that geralt can’t silence in baptism of fire when he tells him he’s wrong / regis being comically like “yeah no, im more powerful than you, so youre just gonna have to deal with me eating soup rn” ... oh yeah also all of the garden dates speaking quietly to one another they canonically had lol... also of course the unlikeliness of their relationship is ;w;

23. what is something really dumb that irritates your oc a lot?

I wouldn’t say that they irritate him a whole lot, but he definitely has a few pet peeves that make him scoff. Most of them have to do with “kids these days”, aka younger higher vampires forgetting their culture. The written word having become so integral everywhere is also something that bothers him to an unnecessary degree. 

32. which one of the 7 deadly sins fit your oc more? do they see it as a flaw?

Envy. And yes, he definitely does see it as a flaw.

21. This is a very vague answer, but his biggest fear is forgetting/not remembering. And being a stranger to those he loves most. Also his way of dealing with this is... not dealing with it. He’s told himself he let go, but deep down he really can’t, so he avoids thinking about it.

42. There definitely is, though it’s something that was out of his control. As Humbert is an Elder vampire, he was one of those who came through during the Conjunction (like the Unseen in Toussaint), and that ripped him from a fully established life, so he deeply regrets it and wishes he could change things. But he’s also made a home for himself in this new world, so he’s very conflicted on if he’d even want to go back or not.

Okay that’s probably more than i should’ve said tbh

18. Humbert travels a lot, and he doesn’t generally stay in one place for more than a decade, so he lives wherever his journey takes him. Usually he’ll live among humans, but every so often he craves some solitude to just be a vampire without constant fear of being found out and uprooted because of it, so in these cases he lives in the wilderness, maybe builds a small shack and lives off the land. I don’t think he really has a dream home or a place he would like to live above all else. The place he would NOT wanna live, though, is Toussaint, because he doesn’t get along with its Unseen Elder, and the place is very heavy in memories from the Conjunction aftermath that pain him.
