Goyokikiya
I’ve been looking for other forwarding services other than Tenso and Baggage Forward which I have used numerous times. Yes they provide good service but then again, they’re expensive(especially if you consolidate items). So I happen to come by this forwarding service, Goyokikiya and so far, I am satisfied with their service. Note, although there’s english here and there on the website, information are mainly in Japanese or Mandarin(Chinese) so if you’re not sure, use Google Chrome to translate and you’ll roughly get what you need to know. Basically the same thing as Tenso and Baggage Forward, but if you’re the type that likes to consolidate your packages, this is probably for you, consolidation of multiple items and Weight-down are FREE!!
I’ll just give a review based on my own experience so here it goes:
So my 2nd item arrived in the morning(in their office) and I consolidated 2 items opting Weight-down service(FREE!) for both items and then waited for them to calculate the total weight of the items.
By 12.30pm(less that 2hours, wow), they gave me a quote of 370g and the different shipping method and cost that I can choose from.
I wanted to try the AIR(Small Packet) for a change(because its $15 cheaper compared to EMS) but wasn’t too sure if it fit the requirement(LxBxH=90cm) so I emailed them and they gave me a reply within 3hours (so fast, wasn’t expecting that at all). So the reply I got was that because I had chosen the weight-down option, they had transferred my items into an EMS Envelope(wasn’t too happy with this part as I wanted my original box in case I needed to return my items and I didn’t want my items squished in an envelope). So 14days later I received my items in the EMS Envelope and its all nicely bubble wrapped up. I must say, I’m satisfied overall :)
