#inktober no. 19, #TheJungleBook was the last film Disney made before he died. As far as Disney films go, I think it's only okay. While it has catchy songs and great animation with some creativity, it's everything else that is mostly okay. The best things in the movie are Shere Khan and Kaa. So why does it seem like I'm hating on it? Let me make this clear: I don't hate it. I think it could have been closer to the book. It's prime for an adaptation on the level of Bambi, but the end result is a pretty basic kid's film. I know it's actually what Walt wanted, but it could have been a bit stronger. I still like it fine. I put it on every now and then.
