"So, it always goes like this," the blonde man started. He placed his hands down on the table like tents, sliding them across its surface as if demonstrating a gameplay of some kind. He hadn't been here at the isles for very long but out of habit the first thing Elias ever did was scope out the tavern. He liked knowing things about town--who to look out for, who not to mess with, and who was all too easy to mess with. He didn't get involved and stuck like a fly on a wall just like he did when he was a bartender. He just liked people watching. Somehow, this ended up with him sitting right across from Badou to talk about his findings.
"That man in the purple vest over at the table playing cards has the easiest tell of that group. If you want some change for those cigarettes you want so bad he would be the one to go up against." He snickered. "Every time he has a bad hand he tries to distract his friend over there in the dirty overalls by bringing up the most recent loss of the local sports teams. His friend has a bad temper, so he doesn't concentrate when he's arguing. Purple vest starts to bite his lip when things aren't going his way. And the last guy has been switching cards when the other two aren't watching."
