@badlandistics: Liked for a starter!
The mugginess of the air when she stepped off the bus was undeniable. The liquid in the air combined with the heat only serving her already heavy breathing no favors, as pained feet carried her around.
She was lost - this was no surprise. Though as she thought on that idea with a finger to her chin something else crossed her, one couldnât exactly be lost when they had no destination, didnât they?
But she did need directions to somewhere where she could let her feet rest. She did spend most of her limited funds simply getting to wherever she was now, so simply staying on that bus was no option. Not right now, at least.
Though with the sight of a figure in the distance, there was some sort of wash of relief across her entire body. They might know the general direction of a hotel or motel or somewhere.Â
Cydni couldnât help but find her feet moving just a bit faster, an arm waving and a smile on her face as she waved and called out to the figure like she knew them.
âHey, hey, hey! âScuse me! Can you answer something for me real quick?â
She ended up a little out of breath of her impromptu sprint on top of her general travel fatigue, so she ended up asking her question before waiting for permission to do so, breath just a bit heavier than before.
âDo you... know which way... it is to a hotel, or something?â
