oooh that's really tough omg. I think so far my favorite thing has been the moments that like, interrupt the recordings themselves? like when someone comes bursting into the archives and distracts Jon and makes him pause for a moment. on the one hand, it's funny and interesting and adds more of an understanding as to the people and the place itself. on the OTHER hand, it really does make you realize just what Jon is doing; he's sitting in a room, alone, speaking into a voice recorder. presumably for hours, maybe. like....I'm going to be real with you that's a bit concerning lmao

(I read that one!!!!! I actually read it before I even got into TMA, so I've been a bit spoiled as to the lore, but I actually don't mind that; it can sometimes make it easier for me to consume some media when I know the lore and have been spoiled a bit. couldn't tell ya why lmao :D)

4: Do you save your 'cut scenes' from your fics? (Want to share one?)

interesting answer for this one - I actually don't cut very many scenes!!! every once in a while I do, but I'm much more likely to change aspects of the scene rather than cutting it entirely, if that makes sense!! that being said...here's a cut line from Turbulence (sshau) of Martyn's entrance: "Well, hello." Listener. "I’ve heard that you’ve been bored." (hearing joke it was really lame that's why I cut it lmaooooo)

20: What made you start writing?

ooooh good question!!! I started writing when I was in third grade-ish? (about 8-9 years old, for those who are unsure :D). my teacher held a poetry unit, and she was super super encouraging of all my writing ventures, so I ended up writing my first ever "novel" (it was 17 chapters and each chapter was a single handwritten page in a composition notebook lmaoo). in seventh grade I started writing fanfic (though I didn't realize it was fanfic) about Keeper of the Lost Cities, then I wrote some fanfic for DSMP (I am no longer in either of those fandoms lmao), and then I found Hermitcraft/Life Series and started writing for THAT! eventually, I decided to bite the bullet and make an ao3 account :) that was a bit more than the question called for, but that's ok lmao

ough I can't go into too much detail because spoilers, but there is a certain tbhau fic that I am So Excited to write!!!! it'll be fun >:D

hello!!!!! it's. honestly really funny that you've asked this, because the genuine answer is that I really don't plan out my writings?

most often, I'll come up with an idea for a premise and I'll be like, okay, where would that premise LOGICALLY start out? what would *I* want to see in this premise before things kick into gear?

and then as I keep writing and realize that things are getting more complicated than I ever intended, I make a list of goals!!! just simple ones, like "character X and character Y continue to deteriorate" or "character Z sets an emergency plan in motion"

and when things get REALLY complicated (which is usually halfway into my longer fics), THATS when I map out an actual plot and decide what I want to happen lol. the rest of it, though? I'm mostly winging it. it's genuinely kind of just "if ____ happened, that would be a lot of fun!"

just wanted to say that I read your GIGGS phasmo series and I completely fell in love with it, the way you portray the dynamics between all the characters balanced with your worldbuilding makes for such an immersive read and I can't wait to read more of your work!
