This couple exchanged wedding vows at the Rockleigh Country Club in Rockleigh, New Jersey. After getting ready photos and their “first look”, we took portraits on the beautiful grounds surrounding The Rockleigh. An energetic Badeken precluded the ceremony, and I couldn’t resist taking a few HDRI (high dynamic range image) photos of the couple under the chuppah as they exchanged vows.
As Orthodox Jewish people, it was important to them that they know I was sensitive to their culture and customs, so part of our pre-wedding meetings centered around that to be sure I would integrate well with what ended up being an amazing, heart-felt celebration.

A beautiful wedding at Temple Beth Torah – Michal and Daniel’s Big Day!
The day dawned bright and clear for Michal and Daniel as they both prepared for their Florida wedding at Temple Beth Torah. Michal was humble, radiant and excited as she slipped on her wedding gown. Her wedding dress with its intricate lace and beading was subtle and beautiful, while her makeup, done by Carlos, was artfully and tastefully done. Don’t let that fool you! This bride wore red striped socks underneath her wedding dress as a surprise! She definitely knew how to have fun!
Ana Ehrlich from Smashing Affairs outdid herself in the preparation and design of Michal and Daniel’s wedding. The traditional Jewish Chuppah by Fleurish Designs was beautiful with orchids laced and threaded into the thin tree branches that twisted and wrapped around each other. Michal’s bridal bouquet was a cascade of large, bright white orchids that complimented her modest wedding dress and decor.
The linens provided by Brelex Party Rentals transformed the reception hall of Temple Beth Torah into a South Florida photographers dream! The crisp white linens draped the walls and the brilliant hues of purple, blue, orange and magenta LED wedding lighting provided by Claudio Resnik of ARPI Lighting Group morphed and changed constantly.
Yossi Bayles Orchestra started off the evening for these two love birds with high energy as the Team at Domino Arts Photography and Cinematography captured the action. The dance floor was packed as the guests leapt and swung each other around in the traditional Hora. The wedding photographs that were captured by the Team at Domino Artswere filled with the spirit of the evening. The wedding table decor alternated with white wedding flower arrangements of calla lilies, white hydrangea’s and white orchids on some and candelabra’s that dripped crystal with white hydrangea’s at the top on others. Eric Kaufman from Executive Catering outdid himself with a delicious dinner and mouth watering desserts that had the guests returning for more than just a second helping.
As the night progressed, belly dancing skirts with jingling gold coins, glow stick necklaces, pink cowboy hats, top hats with colors and crazy patterns, and masks all made an appearance on the dance floor.
The young couple and their guests ended the night of their South Florida wedding with stories told by both family members and Rabbi.
This highly energetic wedding was unforgettable. Congratulations Michal and Daniel!
