"N-No! It's not that." Daniel assured, looking down at the ring between James' fingers. "Do you think we're really ready?" The young male looked his boyfriend in the eyes. He trusted James more than anyone in the world, loved him more than anything in the world, and looking into the other's eyes made him realize that. "Yes. I do. I'll marry you, James."

Because I draw the line at street corners." He took the blunt out of her fingers then, took a drag, and placed it between her full lips with an exhale. Maybe she was a little too fresh faced to be a hooker, but he said it and wasn't about to apologize for something. To be fair, there has been a hooker (or two or three) that had shown up to one of his 'social gatherings'. As always, it wasn't anything big: just a few friends and friends of friends at his apartment smoking and getting a little drunk to good music.
