BAC Participants 2012
Justin: Hi Tumblr people! Based on this picture of me holding this sign I made, I’m against bullying of any kind. I'm currently working on a series of photographs for my BAC Senior Exhibition.
Kamaria: Hello my name is Kamaria. I'm from Harlem, NYC and I love to create and design new things. I'm a junior at LaGuardia High School of Music & Art. In this program I hope to learn more about art and become better in making things look real.
Raheem: My future goal as an artist is to become a fashion designer and an architect.
Cristopher: I like long walks on the beach, snow days, hurricanes, and fancy things. I’m 17 years old, from the Bronx, and I’m aspiring to be a graphic designer, fashion designer, and the King & Queen of Cheese. No one is going to stop me.
Diana: I’m a high school senior attending Marble Hill School for International Studies. I’m a visual artist who uses art as a method of exploration. I also believe that art can be used for activism and is a very powerful tool. My current body of work explores the physical and metaphorical implications of clutter.
Gabriella: My life-long dream is to become a forensic scientist but, I joined BAC because making art if fun and it makes me think about things in another way. I also love the OSP community.
Nashid: I'm a sophomore at Marble Hill School for International Studies and my artwork deals with targeting notions of stereotypes.
David: Hi, my name is David and I'm a sophomore at Bronx International High School, and a video artist. The project I'm currently making is about bullying and teen suicide.
