These gluten-free biscuits are packed with flavor from crispy bacon, sharp cheddar cheese, and nutritious kale. Perfect for a savory breakfast or snack!
Ingredients: 2 cups almond flour. 1/4 cup coconut flour. 1 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp black pepper. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed. 1 cup chopped kale. 1/2 cup cooked crispy bacon, crumbled. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 2 large eggs. 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 175F 350C. Put parchment paper on the bottom of a baking sheet. Put baking powder, salt, black pepper, almond flour, and coconut flour in a large bowl. Add the cold butter and mix until the mixture looks like big crumbs. Add the chopped kale, bacon bits, and cheddar cheese shreds. Mix the eggs and almond milk together in a different bowl. Mix the dry ingredients with the egg mixture until everything is well mixed. Place spoonfuls of the dough on the baking sheet that has been prepared, leaving space between each one. Do not take them out of the oven until they are golden brown and fully cooked, about 15 to 18 minutes. Take it out of the oven and let it cool down a bit before you serve.
