lol i knew i wouldnt post this until like a week after finishing the drama haha

but anyways for those who havent seen it the ending was confusing as literally so this is my take on the ending 

i think that zhen zhen went to the future hence her future self was still the same as she was in 1989 BECAUSE remember in like i think the third to last episode where a man told her she should actually be dead instead of alive and it showed us all those flashbacks of chen che saving her yeah yeah. Well yeah kinda understand it, because if chen che didnt go back zhen zhen would have gotten run over, and died which is also why i think his mum suffered even more and why his mum was so unhappy in the future before, because if chen che hadnt gone back then zhen zhen would have died which would have meant that ya juan wouldnt have had the support she did have when she found out she was pregnant because it shows you that zhen zhen really supported her through everything. and if zhen zhen would have died then no one would have been there to support and care for her because ya juan is the type of person to not tell everyone her worries and troubles. 

okay back to the point, i think that zhen zhen went to the future when she disappeared saving 3 year old chen che because in my opinion it was basically like the universe saying that yeah now you’re even. he saved you and you saved him so we’ll let you two be together. and the fact that chen che appeared in 1989 saving zhen zhen and zhen zhen disappeared and went to 2016 after having saved chen che. 

DOES THIS ALL MAKE SENSE NOW?

because looking at the ending like this, it makes sense to me 

i wish they would have a follow up ep on how this really happened because tbh although the ending makes sense like this it still doesnt explain why as soon as zhen zhen went to 2016 why she didnt search for chen che first.

and also that confusing last ep, like i heard the ending to that was literally just an alternative ending, like couldnt they have used that last ep to explain the ending instead of giving us another ending, because then it leaves more unanswered questions
