🚨😱HUGE THANKS to the folks @backchannelbrewing who sent us Turning Tricks IPA // Vic Secret & Cashmere hops // 6.50% 🐳exploding aromatics of passion fruit, pineapple, lime, and melon. With the beer came a bowl, which had us stumped for a minute but we quickly learned it was pretty damn cool and a great way to enjoy the full aromatics of a fresh IPA. Here’s the story with the bowl and why: We did some research about bowls and it turns out that the Nordic people, Vikings, used “Ale Bowls” during celebrations , and the word Skål (Skol Vikings) literally translates to “bowl.” Being from Minnesota, it only made sense to pay homage to our Viking heritage, so we now celebrate the release of any freshly tapped IPA with the option of enjoying it out of a bowl, thru the first week of its release. It’s not meant to be an everyday vessel, but it helps educate people about why consuming fresh beer is best, and it definitely allows the aroma to shine. Great work guys and keep it up!
