When she came home from hanging out with Caeley, Darcy decided she had something she really wanted to get off her chest. Nervously, she asked her sister if they could talk.

“Are you okay? Did something happen with Caeley?” Winona asked.

“No! No nothing happened. I’m fine!” Darcy was quick to reply. “I just- I’ve been thinking about stuff,” she shrugged.

“Oh wow! Stuff!? Really!?” Winona gasped dramatically.

“Stop it! I’m serious!” Darcy whined. “Never mind. Forget I brought it up.”

She was about to get up, but Winona stopped her. “Come on. It’s okay. You can talk to me about stuff. I’m gonna be serious.”

“Promise you won’t make fun of me?” Darcy muttered, looking suddenly very shy and awkward. It was very unlike her. 

“I won’t make fun of you,” Winona told her.

“I think... maybe... I might like girls. I think- I think I like boys and girls,” she said.

Winona had to fight back a huge smile. Her sister had a crush!? On Caeley!? Oh my Watcher! “That’s okay! You can like both, there’s nothing wrong with that,” she said, keeping her excitement at bay.

“Oh,” Darcy mumbled.

“Is it Caeley?” Winona dared to ask.

Darcy went red.

“It is!” Winona gushed. “Awwww my little sister has her first crush! That’s so CUTE!” She grabbed Darcy by the shoulders and hugged her. “You’re growing up so FAST!”

“STOP IT! You said you wouldn’t make fun of me!” Darcy groaned.

Rachelle was quick to convince some of the other women to join her for a yoga class. She was determined to get them all as excited about the Spa Day updates as she was!

 Andy had better things to do but Nineka and Winona decided, why not?

“You’ll feel great afterward, trust me,” Rachelle assured the girls as they set up their mats on the edge of the park. “You’ll get a moodlet and everything!”

“I heard they added nails too, and they’re not even CC,” Winona said.

“Yeah, that’ll be exciting to try out when we get a spa,” Nineka said with an excited grin. “The only issue is that sometimes you get this weird glitch where the nail color will bleed into some of the clothes.”

“Listen. With EA we have to be open-minded. It’s still progress!” Rachelle told them. “At least the CC nails didn’t break so we can still have those.”

Rachelle picked a new aspiration to work on. This one may take a while...

And here’s a few extra shots that didn’t make the final cut but I thought were cute and/or worth featuring... Ignore Winona’s wardrobe change. I had to call her back to the party when she decided to peace the eff out. 

Anyway!

So the party was also going on inside; most of the kids hung out in the playroom or around the dinner table. Darcy and Caeley were pretty keen on getting to know the new townie.

“We hardly ever get new people in Plumbob Falls!” Caeley said dramatically. “The last CAS Point we got was years ago!” 

“What’s SimCity like?” Darcy asked.

“It’s loud, and kind of dirty,” Kash replied. “But it’s exciting too. There’s loads to do... and plenty of food from all sorts of cultures,” he explained. 

“That sounds so cool! I wanna experience stuff like that,” Caeley said. 

“Have you ever been to a professional sports game?” Darcy asked.

Kash actually laughed, and then realized Darcy might get offended. He backtracked a little, offering her a smile. “No, sports were never uh, really my thing,” he explained. “I was more into math.” 

“Ew!” Caeley screeched.

She spent all day at the museum working on some tasks for work and then promptly came home to bake a cake for her pseudo foster son’s birthday.

The best part is, Arnie doesn’t even know he’s getting a party! The only reason she even knows his birthday is because she saw it on his application when he first came to Plumbob Falls!

Kash was in charge of breakfast that morning since Nineka had to head into work pretty early. Unfortunately Nineka is also the more competent cook.

I got the new Give Me Some Talent Mod by FDSims4Mods. The mod is literally a day old as I write this, just in case you want to know how far in advance these posts are.

So far I have to say, it’s been pretty cool! Unlike Lumpinou’s Talents & Weaknesses (which I also really liked), this one is actually affected by a sim’s skills from the previous life stage. 

I think they were randomized when I opened the save for the first time with the mod in because some of them were a bit odd, but after a little bit of cheating I was able to give the Cook-Underwood family some talents and weaknesses. 

Poor Ginny wasn’t too happy when she found out her mom was going to work again today. She couldn’t even see her dad either since he was in the bathroom grinding his charisma skill to hopefully get a CAS Point by the end of the week.
