I don't know if I'm partial to the idea of Ramy and Robin being in love in Babel
What I do know is that, even in this, R. F. Kuang speaks of privilege because, at its core, loving freely is a privilege, and you can feel it in the way Robin expresses the night at the -much discussed- ball:

And this is horrible, because sometimes, when you're already in a position of vulnerability, wherther being for the color of your skin, your place of birth, your sex, gender, mother tongue and so many others, you just can't give the system more ways to vulnerate you.
(I'm not saying everyone does it, sometimes people are brave and courageous, and they persist and change things)
The possibility of them being in love or even considering it is something Babel also takes from them. From my point of view, they feel it and immediately resign to the oportunity, as they had with so many others things
It’s insane to read dog man as a kid and you know laugh at the goofy backstory,
oh , his body is dead ! and his head is dead !what shall we do ! Let’s fuse his head with his body of course! They are both alive as one ! Well dog man is mostly dog / Greg than human / knight because dog head , but we will not develope that !
But know , it’s so messed up , dog man is the dog put inside of the body of his best friend/ owner/ maybe dad. Do you have any idea how messed up that is . And since his body is still living inside does dog man do things that officer knight would normally do and then realize he’s doing it .

working on chapter 2 as my class mates review chapter one. So far two have responded and on said they actually like it and said the second person perspective works with the story since it helps them feel immersed into the whole vr thing. though I'll get live feedback on tuesday.

Silksong got dropped just to let you know.
Okay! So important news to anyone hoping that this blog would spring back to life once Silksong dropped... I'm not dead! I, however, have not finished Silksong and am trying to avoid spoilers (haven't gotten past the last judge rip). I'm in college now and have had to majorly reassess how I interact with media as I became addicted to fandom spaces/content in a way that was really unhealthy for me. That's not to say this blog is be archived or abandoned! I still love these games and want to be able to interact with communities without forming maladaptive behaviors, so I'm actually planning on trying to get back into the groove of that with this blog. It's going to be slow, and I can't promise the content is going to be the same like before, but I do hope to keep this blog alive.
So if you want to send in more Silksong centered asks, go ahead, just keep in mind that if there's names I don't recognize I won't respond and my characterizations are probably going to be off since I haven't seen the whole of them. (and please keep any major spoilers or lore dumps to a minimum for now)
Sometimes I wish I had the capacity to interact more, but I'm so bad at this.

But at least I have good news, my parents got me a new laptop! And I'm really happy with it. It's really not the best yet, but in comparison with my old one, it's a big difference and now I'm able to play games that I couldn't before and get back to drawing :D
