Good eveninnggg. I always have BRR thoughts for pretty much any setting you can imagine, because they are my Comfort Toys and if I'm sitting and watching a movie with the correct vibe, I will begin to build BRN lore for whatever that setting is. I'm putting them in Man From UNCLE. I'm putting them in Singin' in the Rain. I've put them in the Discworld (not a surprise to anyone who has ever spoken to me).
Anyway, when I'm playing with them in a modern AU, I usually make Gene an EMT, Renee a resource-limited medical professional (such as a homelessness care specialist or part of a medicins sans frontieres team), and Babe a townie who never went to college and has some random ass job. He serves Bartender Realness to me.
