this is SUPER interesting to me cuz in the light novel femt says something really similar. he comments on how cruel it is for higher beings like chaos and cosmos to allow regular people to know that they exist. he calls the world an ant farm or some kind of toy. that no one likely including him should even know that there Are higher beings. and right before this yells about how he doesnt even want to be himself because he regrets knowing as much as he does and he desperately just wants to be a normal person which he believes will Never happen

femt and edgar are both extremely powerful and knowledgeable beings and yet they both seem to show concern for what may happen in the future. they both comment on how despite being who they are that theyre out of control and ultimately the fate of the world isnt up to them

this is an aside but i think femt makes his insane games because he feels so out of control. messing with humanity and treating people like livestock is his way of having control in such a deadly world as he puts it as well as distancing himself from people he knows arent strong enough to survive BUT ANYWAY THATS OFF TOPIC

i just think! its interesting! that both edgar and femt feel this way! that they both go to klaus when theyre worried! that they both will ultimately choose to work with humanity when it comes down to it!!! theres an emphasis on how humanity and beyondians are really not that different from each other and this is shown as early as the very first volume where femt shows no discretion between humans and beyondians when his games kill people. the light novel also focuses a lot on how distant femt feels from normal people and really outlines how that includes beyondians and people who know him personally as well. klaus himself even comments on femt being willing to work with humanity to stop the world from falling apart

since femt mentioned in ch 13 that its time to get the 13 kings involved id really like to see the kings working with libra. especially given that femt has helped like at least three times now in dire situations. i really think femt cares sooo much more than hes willing to admit (thinking about him telling leo to forget about him at the restaurant and how he disappeared after fighting curious and how he destroyed all the cameras after klaus pointed out that he got involved and how he yelled at barbarossa that he didnt help he just brought the squid and amnes did all the work this guy does NOT want to be seen caring or doing good things!!!) his self appointed title as The King Of Depravity and the way he acts when doing his. live streams. for lack of a better word. seems like his way of distancing himself and trying to force himself not to care or feel bad about Normal People #floweycore

femt always seems to have a certain behavior in public and when hes trying to threaten people. as if hes so above everyone else and humanity being pathetic is so funny to him and he has 81 ways of destroying the world and "will this be an uninteresting slaughter" etc etc. yet in private he talks about how sad it is to him that humanity refuses to learn from their setbacks and that he "doesnt need a reason to help" when saving his favorite restaurant and how hes so lonely because he'll never be normal. his games also always have some weird lesson humanity is meant to learn from them But Thats A Different Anticapitalist Conversation

i really want to see where nightow goes with edgar trying to "help" libra vs whatever femt is gonna do with the kings vs whatevers up with curious right now. i think edgar femt curious and libra could have some really interesting parallels with the way all of them feel about humanity and themselves. something about how all of them refuse to back down Ever even when the situation is hopeless and completely out of their control. something about how femt killing people is probably his way of having control vs klaus doing what he can to save people and apologizing to blood breeds when sealing them

i think every character in kkss Especially Blood Breeds are meant to showcase how trauma can affect someone and how they choose to live their lives because of it. it takes an immense amount of strength to choose to keep living and continue being kind despite everything (thinking about klaus and femt parallels specifically) something something as long as u take one step toward the light
