occupation: an assistant for a high ranking courtesan, but the real money comes from her being a secret drug mule/courier between shady individuals and organizations.

(she stores the goods inside the chest part of her bodysuit, giving the illusion of big tiddies)

hobbies: paints portraits and sells them occasionally at markets

is sometimes commissioned by courtesans and their clients

combat: will not hesitate to scream or run. carries smoke bombs on her but has a bad habit of throwing them at faces instead of the ground

design notes: (also lets pretend that in the second pic i coloured in the top part of her top properly ♡)

the design is mostly a mix of activewear and traditional korean hanbok

primary colours (red, blue, yellow) are very prominent in hanbok, so I used them here with the main colour being blue.

I hoped to bring some sense of urgency and alertness with the brightness of the yellow, contrasting with the calm that the blue would normally evoke. serin is always ready to flee.

korean girls traditionally had their hair tied in one long braid before graduating to an updo once they got married. I wanted to incorporate that and indicate subtly that serin is youthful (+ unmarried, but thats not relevant)

serin wears leggings because she is oftentimes running, jumping, or maneuvering around terrain. she needs to be flexible and agile

the black straps you see at the top are connected to the bottom of her bodysuit, it is all one piece.

my team if i were a trainer... but i don't think i'd want to be a trainer, i think i'd want to run a daycare!! or perhaps a restaurant hehe so realistically i think i'd only have jolteon as a companion out of all of these guys.... uwu

i chose these pokemon based on the pokemon i actually do play the most with in fire red!

this is bladie's team!!! i think he's a teacher at an academy teaching budding trainers!! he's great with kids and everyone loves him. he collects fans and friends effortlessly and truly doesn't understand how popular he actually is (he thinks it's a normal amount of acquaintances to have, doesn't everyone just get along with everyone?)

i chose these pokemon based on pure vibes and also the fact that pokemon are naturally just very drawn to him <3 (espeon was bc of kafka !!)
