Mother fucker getting Meltings B skin got me hard.
If you wanna get melting's b-skin i recommend getting crown of risk. you get a chance to get better weps, albeit cursed. But even then, you get immensely higher exp from cursed caves. so you can practically get ultra by palace 1
I think you mean the Crown of Curses.
That said I’ll have to disagree here. In my experience being level Ultra in a Melting B-skin run doesn’t really matter, because none of Melting’s Ultras are particularly useful against the Throne or even the Palace, for that matter.

any extremely recommended weapons for meltings b-skin?
Energy Sword, Auto Crossbow, Gatling Slugger, and the likes. Explosives are pretty good as well but you better have Boiling Veins in that case. I don’t remember what weapons I used when I got the b-skin but I used the Oasis skip so it was probably not anything as good as the weapons described above.
This is just a piece of advice; when trying to get melting's b-skin, I find it very rewarding to take a crown of guns as it can reward you with a super plasma cannon by throne fight. And a side note, you have to beat the throne, not just reach it!
I can’t say I’m entirely convinced by this. In order to actually find a Super Plasma Cannon before the Throne you need to bump the difficulty up by at least two, since enemies drop weapons one tier below your current one and the Super Plasma Cannon normally only drops on 7-3. In my experience increasing the difficulty is the last thing you want to do.
That said it’s entirely possible that I’m wrong. I’m just one person who plays too much Nuclear Throne, after all.
How to keep sanity while trying to unlock Melting B skin?
You cannot give up just yet… Anon! Stay determined!
Take breaks every now so that the salt doesn’t get to your head, remember to drink some water every now and then. In all honesty I can’t give you a very specific answer, only you know what helps you focus.
