THE MAN RUNS! Not as fast as him though.  he didn’t have much on his side   only youth  and stupidity. the drive to just not QUIT. he  wanted that prize. he’d been going more mad here    family keeping him cooped up like an animal. it  was his own fridge, but he’d finally escaped.  decided to just WALK    investigate around.  he might not have long before his uncle and  aunt panic and call the police. he HATES it  here    he just wants fun. knife in his hand  and stabbing at a dead bird he’d found. he  watches as maggots ooze out and     then  he thinks he’s been caught. by someone in  a mask   that’s when he chases. easy peasy.  his hand releases the blade without his  control, there’s a slight burn inking up in  his arm but he doesn’t seem to flinch from  it. eyes turn up but he can’t see much as  his hair falls in his eyes. god damn it.
