Fifty years ago today, rehearsals for the 4-5 hour variety show known as the Rolling Thunder Revue began their 3rd day in midtown NYC. Although many of us lived in Manhattan, management decreed that we live in a central location while working on the show's format. This was our first taste of the 24/7 schedule we'd be signing onto for the next six weeks, living and working together as a unit while the show evolved. Dylan registered s Phil Bender; the other people on the 15th floor are management and security. Baez was Carlos Bernel, the film crew are the group at bottom left.
