Okay but I am legitimately 5' (minus a quarter inch) tall (~152cm) and Taiju Shiba is 6'9", 205cm time skip. THIS MAN IS 21 INCHES TALLER THAN ME. HIS LEGS ARE LIKE MY HEIGHT.
Anyway, I just know that sometimes he gets a little annoyed that I walk so slow because my stride is like 1/3 of what his is (and I know he walks fast anyway and I am slow), so instead of complaining or trying to get me to go faster, he'll just lean down and let me climb on his back so that he can walk at his normal speed while I cling onto him. He also NEVER lets go of my hand in public because he knows if he did, he'd walk so fast I'd never catch up but also, if he lost me in a crowd, he'd never find me because I'm so short so he's a little paranoid of that (especially since he has enemies). Also, he definitely carries me when it's been a long day and I'm tired and want his attention. Oh god, he would just let me cling to his side and hold me like a toddler with one arm while he did stuff around the house, I hate it here but I also love it here.
Hakkai 100% still gets nervous sometimes. Like most of the time, when he's the one taking off my shirt, he's fine. Feral and on a mission. It's the times he isn't expecting it that he blushes like mad and suddenly forgets we've been married for years and he sees me naked all the time. Like say I take off my t-shirt randomly in the middle of the kitchen because I spilled something on it and want to get out the stain, and Hakkai chokes on his water and blushes when I pull off my shirt and there's nothing under it. Or I get home from work and want out of my scrubs so I just strip by the front door and walk into our living room in only my underwear and suddenly he's pulling a pillow in his lap to hide how fast he just got hard. I HC that he would be really comfortable around his partner and a bit more dominant, but there are still those moments where he reverts to that teenage boy that can't talk to girls and those moments just MELT me because he's so cute and I would always just go hug him or sit on his lap and bury my face in his neck because he's so fucking precious. I would just be so in love because I think it's cute I can still fluster him after all that time and he would definitely still fluster me 😅
Our wedding would be a mess though because he'd see me in the dress and he'd be crying and about to faint because the whole day is so overwhelming to him, so Mitsuya is there with an arm around him practically holding him up while I walk up the aisle not knowing whether to giggle or cry with him because fuck he is so handsome and all mine 🥺
