The Gore Magala Schi and Vardan the Great Jaggi were inseparable, until the day Schi needed time to herself for molding, as she was soon to become a beautiful Shagaru Magala. With the Great Jaggi finally left alone, it was the moment Hunters chose to assault him.

The fight was unfair and Vardan stood little chance despite his experience in combat. Alerted by the screams of her friend, Schi forced herself to break her transformation and rushed into battle, slaughtering the Hunters in a burst of rage. Saving Vardan’s life came to a great price however: the interruption of her molding condemned her to a slow fall into pain and madness, that would eventually lead to her not even recognizing her sole and only friend anymore... It was then Vardan’s turn to show how far he would go to save his friend.

Caeris, the blind Fatalis, along with her Felyne friends is attempting to find the Teostra Lord in order to apologize for being rude to him (she might have called him ‘smelly Felyne’ once, but maybe her lack of sight is to blame), though it seems to turn out a little more complicated than expected…

“Let’s try this one!“ said the little Felyne eagerly while making her way to the entrance of the cave.

“I always thought Elders were easy to seek out…”, the other one sighed.

“Are you serious, Tomi?”, Mariko laughed loudly, “You even lost track of Caeris two times, when you went swimming with her! And why are you complaining at all? You’re not even walking yourself. Eri should be the one complaining, not you.”

“I don’t mind. It’s not like we’re able to go on many trips together. I mean, outside the valley… So I enjoy this rare opportunity.” the Fatalis replied amused, shaking her head slightly, causing Tomi to clasp around one of her horns in a sudden panic of falling off.

“STOP IT, NYA!”, the red Felyne shouted until Caeris stopped teasing him, “And 1: I only lost track of her, because I didn’t expected her to DIVE and 2: Even to be carried doesn’t stop me from overheating…”

“You truly are such a Lament-Kitty… However this cave appears to be empty like the others, sooo…”, she ran in Caeris direction, striking an extreme silly pose and meowed, “Ride on! Fatalis!” and the Fatalis obeyed, bowed the massive head to the ground and let the Felyne climb up with a wide grin on their scaly face. “You two really liked visiting Hakum Village, eh?”

“This might be the one!” announced Caeris kinda excited, but also with a nervous tone.

“How can you be so sure about this?”

“The air smells spicy and makes me want to scratch my nose… Oh! I think he’s coming!”, the rising sound of clicking claws could be heard and Caeris quickly fixed her posture, bowing her horned head in a formal greeting. Soon Mariko hit her scales a few times, the sign for the blind Fatalis to start the Greeting they practiced or so she thought.

“Your majesty, please excuse my sudden appearance in your territory, but I come with good intentions. But first, I want to apologize for my rude behavior the last time I was met with your hospitality. Never meant to upset the King of the volcanic lands. I only wanted to express what a sm-”, the hitting on her scales became harder, “S-smashing and splendid specimen of a Teostra your majesty portrays and…”, the hitting became even harder and with great confusion, she finally turned to the little Lynians. “What is it? Am I speaking rudely still?”

“This it not the King you’re speaking to.”, Mariko whispered as quietly as possible, “It’s the Queen.”, whereupon Caeris only answered with a sheepish: “Oh…”

The King himself left a few days ago, they were told, to Heaven’s Mount accompanied by Elysae. An urgent request to meet a Friend in dire times.

“I see…”, the only dull comment from Caeris’ Side at first. Too great weighed the shame, that she mistook the Queen with the King, but at least she was prepared to make up for it this time:

“Despite the awkward start, I still wish to deliver what I or we came for in the first place.”, the Fatalis took the tied up sack she carried on her back, opened it and displayed the content in front of the Lunastra, “These are two scarfs in the colors of your majesties. If you ever wish to visit the cold lands outside your territory. They’re made from various furs and wool, Popo, Moofah, Lagombi, even a little of Gammoth and were coated with a mixture of oils and herbs highly resistant to fire and even explosions. As long as you not intent to take a bath in lava with them, they should last. But speaking of lava baths, we also made these…”, she picked up one of the shiny orbs, hidden in the sack, “They were an experiment to recreate the concept of what Humans or Wyverians call 'Bath bombs’. The inside is mostly made off Brachydios slime and the explosive powder of mine, while the outside is similar to the crystals growing on Basarios and Gravios. We… eh… Just never actually tested these in Lava, but they worked fine with other hot substances. They deliver some good explosions and smell of flowers, herbs or grilled meat. The latter are my favorites, but that’s only my humble opinion. I think you’ll find a good use for them.”, then she bowed her head again, “With this in mind, I’ll take my leave. I already demanded enough on your precious time. Only wish you the best for your future and if I can be of any service to you, do not hesitate. It’s the least I can do to honor your hospitality.”

A Jaggi and a Magala. Having fun destroying a happy snow man. Nothing more, nothing less.
