Guilty Pleasures: Skooma first and foremost. It’s more of a vice than a guilty pleasure, though, to be honest. He’s extremely addicted. Beyond that, he likes bread and sweets quite a bit, and sometimes he’ll indulge himself in the occasional sweetroll (extra icing of course).

Phobias: Heights. He’s goddamn terrified of heights. Any situation where his feet are off the ground, he’s immediately in a panic. 

What he would become famous for: Back in his youth, Azurjan was a pretty sturdy hunter, and very talented with fire magic. He probably would have gone on to teach others after the fact.

What he would have/has been arrested for: He’s been arrested multiple times for making/trafficking skooma, but the guards tend to feel sorry for him since he’s just a tiny angry old man, and tend to let him out of prison after a day or two.  

OC you ship him with: He’s not currently being shipped with anyone, but he does hang out with Riven Firesteel constantly.

OC most likely to murder him: Age and skooma will never kill him, so probably a bear.

Favorite book genre: He’s both illiterate and blind LOL. But if he could read, his favorite genre would probably just be serial murder mysteries.

Least favorite book cliche: Again, if he could read, it would probably be convenient deus ex machinas. 

Talents and/or powers: Aside from being able to make skooma REALLY well, Az is pretty talented with fire magic. He doesn’t use it so much anymore, just because it’s a little more dangerous and unstable in his old age. He’s also very good at singing, but it’s extremely rare that he will. 

Why someone might love him: There are very few reasons to love Azurjan, beyond the fact that he’s good at making drugs. A lot of people just pity him.

Why someone might hate him: He’s surly, he’s insulting, he never bathes, and he never d i e s.

How he’s changed: Az has changed a lot over the years. He used to be a father, and very loyal to his ideals and his tribe. His whole life used to be focused on raising his son, and serving his people unquestioningly. After Red Mountain exploded, though, his son was killed in the blast, and Azurjan lost his sight. He and his people fled to Skyrim, and subsequently Winterhold, and the more time he spent there, the more bitter he became. Age eventually left him too decrepit to work, and instead of subjugating himself to the life of a beggar, Az instead chose to make skooma. There’s very little honor left in him. His ideals are all but dead, and the only thing he has left now is bothering Riven.
