            ❝  𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐋 𝐈 𝐃𝐎 , ❞   𝐒𝐀𝐘𝐒 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐄 𝐈𝐍 𝐀 𝐈𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎𝐍𝐄 ,  𝐁𝐎𝐃𝐘 𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 ‘𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 𝐎𝐍 𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐓  as madi is placed into the rover.   brows furrow with her ever growing disturbance ,  with her ever morphing anger toward what bellamy && the others were trying to get madi to do.   she’d taken the flame to save her && now they expect her to lead a army of over four hundred into a gorge straight into the line of danger?    no , it’s not happening!   the door is slammed ,     ❝ i am her mother && it’s my job to protect her. ❞    it’s all clarke has ever wanted ,  ❝ . . she is not leading octavia’s army into that gorge && she sure as hell is  not keeping the flame!   i won’t let her die like ever other commander , aslan. ❞     she remembers the azgeda member fondly ,  a entire life time ago.   things had changed , she’d changed.      ;      a shaky breath is taken in , anxiety filling her chest the longer they lingered within running distance of octavia.   (   the idea of bellamy , indra ,  being in trouble 𝙷𝙰𝙳𝙽'𝚃  been lost on her , but they made their decision when they asked madi to become the commander.   )       pistol is drawn out ,  arm extends as it points in his direction as it’s point head height.  moment of hesitation is given   .     ❝  you never saw us leave , do you understand? ❞   said in a more   𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬   tone ,     ❝ . . aslan ,  please━ don’t tell her.  i’m protecting my child from her ,  it’s what needs to be done && i don’t want to hurt you , but i will if you get in my way. ❞  

  perhaps not entirely true, though she’s quick to DOUBT. they come from different worlds, and while she’s growing more fond toward the ways of his people, kara knows where she belongs — where she’s ACCEPTED.

      or so she hopes.

      a  hum  falls  from  her  lips  as  she  places  cold  rag  upon  his  cheek  to  stop  the  swelling.   she  couldn’t  help  but  smile  at  the  brag  of  strength  that  fell  from  his  lips  ,  ‘  does  he  also  have  a  split  lip  and  black  eye  ?  or  did  you  end  up  killing  him  ?   ‘    it’s  intended  as  a  joke  ,  but  now  it’s  fallen  out  of  her  mouth  ,   she’s  not  so  sure.

        ❝ 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 , ❞   𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 𝐋𝐘𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐀 ,  𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐒 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐁𝐄𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐃 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊.     ❝  you could become a hero for just one day , aslan ,  && end up getting yourself killed in the process. ❞    tone isn’t as harsh as  her words might suggest ,  it’s hesitant but also filled with concern for one of her people━lyanna doesn’t take the lives of her people , close to her or common alike ,   𝙻𝙸𝙶𝙷𝚃𝙻𝚈 .  she cares for each of them , she wants to do her parts as their queen to take care of them.   if he wanted to go && risk his life?   then so be it.  she might be his queen , but lyanna can’t make aslan do something he doesn’t desire nor would she want too !    (   she isn’t nia , she doesn’t require   𝐚𝐛𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐞   submission to her wants , to what she says as law !    she asks for loyalty , for trust in her to do the best she could for her clan.   )      ;      a sigh passes lips after a brief moment between them passes ,      ❝  if you wish to go ahead && do this , then you have my blessing.   do what you believe is right , aslan   though . .  ❞    pause happens as another deep breath is taken in && pushed past lips :    ❝ i do hope you survive ,  make it back to azgeda with your life intact.  i might not have gotten to know you growing up or even now as   𝑸𝑼𝑬𝑬𝑵  ,  but every azgeda citizen is . . important to me. ❞   eyes connect with his ,    ❝ yourself included. i mean that. ❞   small smile presents on lips.
