AZ’s current morphology looks weird af when i try for realistic lol. If I ever do a story or series of drawings concerning it, they would be far more simplified.

the patterns were just a test run. it would have either shifting patterns (mostly grey, with modulable flashes of color) or just plain formless grey mottling. 

As it’s a very energetic creature, It  would usually be  more angled, walking about, and only stand upright to survey its surroundings. Standing upright isn’t very comfortable. If it has to stay in place and listen to something or hide for a longer period of time it would just lie down or crouch.

I haven’t decided on some internal details like, ribs. Whether it has them. Stuff like that. But it has a very large, efficient breathing system that never truly deflates and is constantly cycling air. If it were to deflate it would appear much slimmer. 

the arms are restricted in their motion but the hands are about as flexible as a human’s 

it’ s adapted for a role of scouting out the landscape, it’s not very fast, but is very agile and good at long distances. it isn’t very well suited to conflict and fighting, but has excellent senses, is very lightweight, and can regenerate from most injuries. including head ones, but that’s a magic-system thing and not just a miracle of it’s biology. 

it was created, not evolved, btw, and then also ‘intelligently redesigned” to fit it’s role better. it’s initial form was far less capable.
