I write the last scene right after the first chapter, so that scene with Alexia was written back in February 2025. It felt more realistic to keep the scene with Olga as her partner instead of inserting a random love interest for her who hasn’t been mentioned in the eleventh hour! But my apologies for the scare lol

no idea if this was purposeful or not when you first settled on the name but knowing you it probably was- the double meaning behind the title ‘are you home?’ is so 🤌🏼🥹 they are each other’s home!! the peace they’ve found through their relationship is the stuff of dreams. what a wonderful little story :,)

the name is totally intentional! my writing process is a weird circle around of writing the first chapter, writing the last paragraph/line for the entire work, and then determining the title. which very conveniently allows me to weave it into the story from the get-go.
