The Incident

I'm making this seperate to all the other stuff because this is very important and we're gonna be coming back to this A LOT.
It starts in grade nine of the junior high that Takane, Shiki, and Ayataka go to.
Ayataka wants to befriend Takane since he seems nice and approachable, but manages to fuck it up so badly that Takane thinks he's being bullied the entire year.
At the end of the year there's a big project which Takane and Shiki have to work together on. Takane ends up plagerising because he wants to enjoy his summer break early, get caught, and then lies and says Shiki was the one who plagerised. Shiki gets in trouble and is understandably pissed because he did nothing wrong but can't clear his name, so he confronts Takane after school in the courtyard by the garbage bins.
Ayataka walks by, notices the shady location, Takane's afraid express, and how angry Shiki seems, and so thinks that Shiki's going to harm Takane. Ayataka aggresses Shiki, and the two get into a fight that quickly escalates into physical violence. Things get too heated and Shiki pulls out a small knife to defend himself, but Ayataka overpowers him and ends up stabbing him in the eye. Takane watches on horrified and ends up calling the police, who show up shortly after and arrest both Ayataka and Shiki. Takane is too afraid to properly say what happened and due to Ayataka and Shiki's conflicting accounts, they both received punishment.
Shiki didn't have a past record so he was given a year of boarding school and a permanent mark on his student record. Ayataka however had a history of getting into fights, and so was sent to juvie for a year. Takane, feeling incredibly guilty and believing that everything was his fault, isolates himself for a year before having to go to school for grade 11. All three end up at Asakura Highschool, and the rest is main story stuff!
