New information on “Bless You, Rip”
This week, Nightmargin has given us a lot of information about Bless You, Rip. This post is me compiling and sorting all that information.
Misc.:
·Risa’s full name is Sonrisa, which translates to “smile” from Spanish. It’s also a reference to .flow, which I have only heard of this week
·Jay is inspired by Hitoshi-san from “Nyan Neko Sugar Girls”.
Characters:
·Everyone has a role of an archetype.
·Jay’s archetype is Bard, which is mostly his charisma used to persuade people.
·Luca’s archetype is Alchemist, and as such builds gadgets and helps you craft items.
·Chloe is a Scribe; she records information.
·Risa’s role is that of a Rogue – she hacks, gathers intelligence and lockpicks.
·Rip is a knight, so it’s mostly brute force (possibly good at infiltrating).
·Zip has been changed into a jackalope since the demo (which was known long ago from art and such, but now it’s confirmed he is one).
Plot:
·There will be character routes that you can take. Chloe’s route was promised to be funny because of her interactions with Rip (quote: Both spacey in their own right, but in very different ways, contrasting ways.....funny ways.)
·A big part of the plot is going to be “tragedy of flower symbolism”.
·Dandelions are very important, “as well as another flower, which I will not reveal, for it is not time :)”.
