Paul Hawkins & The Awkward Silences are a minor cult sensation that stemmed from a collaboration between author and songwriter Paul Hawkins and Death in Vegas guitarist turned producer Ian Button. They have played the Latitude and Swan Festivals, performed at the Tate Britain and South Bank Centre, released two albums and a number of EPs, soundtracked a radio show in France and received airplay on Radio 1, 6 Music and a host of other stations across the UK and Europe.
