#awkward lions

I went visiting places! (mostly Worcester Cathedral) and i met some AMAZING lions

The one at the top is from king john's grave and he's eating the sword! Amazing muppet vibes.

Bottom left is from little moreton hall, and is... like the lion equivalent of Robot Box off logan's run. (logan's run? anyone? Anyone, logan's run? Best robot ever? He has birds. Anyway, very similar face to the lion)

aaaaand finally a pulpit that looks too dang edible. I want to know what it tastes likeeeeeeee the anglican church frowns on that kind of thing though, hence the velvet rope.

I went to some historic houses last week.

I found a wide range of Little Guys! Granted, one of the little guys was a halberd. But a friendly and polite one I'm sure!

Another was an adorable weird little blue beetle guy, who i THINK might be to help people take their boots off? The duck somehow sneaked in to a table that was MOSTLY replica food. Also featuring one of the BEST lions I have seen. Oh my word he's trying his best. Not happy with having a knight's feet resting on him for eternity. I do love an incredibly awkward stone lion. The wyvern and lion that flanked the door were kind of endearing too.
