exactly. people are willing to judge the fuck out of them before they even do anything so that they can say “i told you so”. because they want to protect themselves from getting hurt again (or so they think), because they’d rather suspect and doubt and slander people who haven’t done anything wrong than risk building up their faith and trust only to be let down again. and maybe because it’s so much easier to stereotype an entire race when they aren’t part of that race themselves.

kimclaire is basically me being annoying and obnoxious and telling claire something trying to get her to like me and her laughing at me but still indulging me. 

also her teaching me bad things in french but telling me they mean different things so that I one day I’ll accidentally tell someone “your handbag smells like snail farts” instead of “how do i get to the nearest metro”basically it’s me being the friend’s younger sibling w/ a huge crush that follows her around everywhere wanting attention and validation rip
